Privacy Policy
Splendid App Maker builds free apps, including Poster Maker (the "Service"), that are supported by ads and offer optional in-app purchases and subscriptions. This page explains how we collect, use and disclose information when you use the Service. By using the Service, you agree to this policy. The Service does not require an account.
1. Information collection and use
- Your content: your designs, photos and Brand Kit details are stored on your phone. We do not have access to them.
- AI poster generation: see Section 2.
- Third-party services: the app uses the third-party services listed in Section 3, which may collect information used to identify you, such as your device's advertising ID and IP address.
- Location: the app does not access your device's location. Our ad partners may use an approximate location derived from your IP address to serve relevant content; we do not store it.
- Storage: storage/photo access is used to pick images, keep data for offline use and save your posters to your device.
2. AI poster generation
When you use AI poster generation, your input is sent to our server and to our AI provider, OpenAI, to create your designs. Your photos are not uploaded. This data is deleted automatically after 90 days.
AI-generated designs may be inaccurate or inappropriate. You can report any design using the Report option in the app.
3. Third-party services
These services may collect information as described in their own privacy policies:
- Google Play Services and Google Play Billing
- Google AdMob
- Meta Audience Network
- Firebase Analytics
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Firebase Remote Config and Cloud Messaging
- Google ML Kit
- OpenAI
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Log data
When an error occurs in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) called Log Data. This may include your device's IP address, device name, operating system version, the app's configuration, the time and date of your use, and other statistics.
5. Advertising and purchases
The app shows ads. Where required, we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device settings.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We do not receive your payment details; we only receive purchase confirmation (such as the product and purchase status) to unlock premium features. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the Google Play Store.
6. Cookies
The Service does not use cookies explicitly. However, it may use third-party code and libraries that use cookies to collect information and improve their services. You can accept or refuse these cookies; if you refuse, some parts of the Service may not work.
7. Service providers
We may employ third-party companies to facilitate the Service, provide it on our behalf, perform related services or help us analyse how it is used. They have access to your information only to perform these tasks for us and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
8. Data retention and deletion
Data on your phone is removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall the app; this also resets the app install ID. AI data on our server is deleted automatically after 90 days.
9. Security
We value your trust and use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Links to other sites
The Service may contain links to other sites, including ads. We do not operate these sites and have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, their content, privacy policies or practices. Please review their privacy policies.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date and are effective immediately after they are posted.
